In this zany family romp, Owen Baker (Liam Aiken), a 12-year-old loner, discovers that his new dog Hubble can not only talk but is an extraterrestrial terrier from the star Sirius. Sent to learn why a planned canine conquest of Earth thousands of years earlier never happened, the pooch becomes friends with his "master", but the pair must stop Hubble's alien commander, the Greater Dane, from recalling the world's dogs back to Sirius.
