My Favourite Brunette

"My Favourite Brunette" (1947, 89 mins.) While looking after his detective neighbour's office, baby photographer Bob Hope's dream of being a private eye lands him on Death Row in this laugh-a-minute spoof. Hired by lovely Dorothy Lamour to track down her missing uncle, Hope tangles with crooks Charles Dingle, Lon Chaney, Jr. and Peter Lorre and winds up framed for murder. "Road To Bali" (1952, 88 mins.) The only "Road" movie in colour has Bob Hope and Bing Crosby doing their best to dodge trouble, as the pleasure-lovin' pair take jobs as divers in the South Seas. Look for Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis in a hilarious cameo. Songs include "To See You", "Chicago Style", "Moonflowers".
