Emma (BBC)

This BBC production of Jane Austen's novel, is set in the small provincial town of Highbury, depicting the often hilarious attempts of Miss Emma to find proper marital matches for her friends. Though she is often mistaken in her judgement, she is criticised and counseled by her neighbour and brother-in-law, the wise Mr. Knightley whose attentions to her seem motivated by more than brotherly love.
