The Vicar of Dibley: Series 1

The perfectly peculiar village of Dibley is in need of a new vicar after Reverend Pottle, aged 102, dies quite unexpectedly. Instead of the standard replacement sporting a beard, a bible and bad breath they get The Reverend Geraldine Granger, "a babe with a bob cut and a magnificent bosom". Recently ordained, Geraldine is very enthusiastic but she needs all her diplomatic skills to deal with the inbred village idiots and eccentrics that make up her congregation. Armed with a sharp wit and a healthy supply of chocolate, Geraldine brings an hysterical new outlook on life, love and the Church of England to the town's strange but lovable inhabitants.
