In the tradition of the Doris Day-Rock Hudson comedies of the early 1960s comes this effervescent period romantic romp featuring Renee Zellweger as a best-selling New England writer who preaches equal rights for women in the bedroom and the boardroom. Chauvinistic magazine writer Ewan McGregor wants to make mincemeat out of Zellweger and her beliefs, so he plots to woo her, then write about his conquest. Complicating matters is the fact that Zellweger's publisher has arranged for her to be interviewed by McGregor. David Hyde Pierce, Sarah Paulson and Tony Randall also star.
