Travelling to a small village to rob the local bank, an ageing criminal (Johnny Hallyday) strikes up an unlikely friendship with a retired poetry professor (Jean Rochefort) who's about to undergo heart surgery. Well past their prime in their respective fields, each man yearns to be more like the other. While Rochefort fantasizes about being a hardened, world-weary outlaw, Hallyday would happily welcome the normalcy and stability enjoyed by his new friend. "A comedy-drama of wit, delight and humanity." - Financial Times. Directed by Patrice Leconte ("The Hairdresser's Huband", "Ridicule").
