Nina Simone: Live at Ronnie Scott's

Recorded live in the cool and intimate atmosphere of London's legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. This live recording featuring the legendary vocalist performing "God God God", "If you Knew" and more is a rare treat for the jazz fan. Regarded as the 'high priestess of soul', Nina Simone was unique in her ability to combine all the diverse ingredients of jazz, soul, blues, gospel and world music and melt them all in to a new musical language all of her own. In 1984, accompanied only by a drummer, she recorded this rare and moving performance which is highly acclaimed by the audience and critics alike.
