Intriguing, beautifully photographed tale from Claude Lelouch ('A Man and A Woman') has Jeremy Irons as the prime suspect in a burglary when a cache of jewels vanishes from the hotel he's staying at in Morocco. But Irons, who suffers from a memory disorder, finds an unexpected ally in beautiful French singer Patricia Kaas, who provides him with an alibi despite not knowing him at all. Kaas, who suffers from the same affliction, embarks on a journey halfway around the world with Irons to a mysterious and enchanted village seeking a cure, while discovering a love that will radically change them.
