Travelling Light

"Travelling Light" is a fascinating portrait of Adelaide in the early 1970s. Pia Miranda is terrific in the central role of a young woman eager to break out of suburbia and embrace life to the full. Pia plays the role of Leanne, a rebellious trainee teacher. Photography is her passion, and her mind is open to anything new - not that she can find much in the way of "anything new" in town. That is, until the arrival of Lou Bonetti, a celebrated American beat poet (Brett Stiller). Bonetti has secrets to hide, but Leanne's encounters with him set her on an exciting journey of discovery.
