The Brain That Wouldn't Die / The Brain Eaters

"The Brain That Wouldn't Die" (1965) - A demented (but hopelessly romantic) surgeon keeps his fiancee's disembodied head alive after an auto accident while he searches for a body transplant 'donor'. This outrageously bad sci fi shocker stars Herb Evers. "The Brain Eaters" (1958) - Strange things are happening in Riverdale. A huge seemingly alien structure has been found jutting out of the Earth. Senator Walter Powers discovers that parasites from the centre of the Earth have infiltrated the town and taken over the minds of the authorities and workers, making communication with the outside world impossible. Only Powers and a small band of uninfected try to stop the spread!
