Come on a journey through the decades as celebrated entertainer Barry Humphries presents a highly satirical view of life in Australia from the 1950s through to the '80s. "Flashbacks" features a wealth of archival footage underscored by classic music from the decades. Joining Barry on the journey are three of his most successful comic creations: icon/diva Dame Edna Everage, elder statesman Sir Les Patterson and returned man Sandy Stone. Dame Edna offers her views on social etiquette, fashion and '80s extravagance. Sir Les has plenty to say on the sexual revolution, drugs and politics, while the ghostly Sandy Stone reminisces about the coming of suburbia and the change from old to new Australia. We also get to know the real Barry Humphries - a man of immense wit and charm - as he takes us on his unique guided tour of the "Flashbacks" era.
