Paul Muni became a star with his portrayal of bloodthirsty mobster Tony Carmonte (modelled after Al 'Scarface' Capone). With Ann Dvorak, Boris Karloff, Osgood Perkins (father of Anthony) and coin-flipper, George Raft.
