Straight Into Darkness

When two American soldiers go AWOL in nazi-occupied France, they stumble on a ragged band of resistance fighters holed up in an old school-house. The children there have been taught to kill Germans as sport, and in the face of a surprise attack the soldiers reluctantly join them. Writer/Director Jeff Burr is an old hand at the horror genre and this film blurs the line between war and horror with captivating and orginal results.
