Fantastic Four
Adapted from the long-running Marvel comic; the story of four scientists who receive a massive dose of gamma rays while working in space, and are miraculously transformed into superheroes. 'Fantastic Four' has plenty of superhero action and a few laughs, in development for years before finally making it to the screen, perhaps a little more development wouldn't have hurt.
