Steamboy
The long-awaited new film from 'Akira' director Katsuhiro Otomo does not disappoint. One of the most expensive animes ever made, this is a retro-styled sci-fi set in Victorian England about a young boy with a mysterious and powerful metal ball, sent by his grandfather. It's a tiny steam engine about to be part of a technological revolution - but who wants the power and to what end? An instant classic.
