At Last The 1948 Show

Combining the nascent talents of John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Tim Brooke-Taylor and Marty Feldman this ground-breaking series was the direct fore-runner of Monty Python. Featuring wildy surreal sketches that would categorise the later series, even the title was satirical with its dig at how long the BBC took to make programming decisions. Produced by David Frost, this series features the original now-classic 'four Yorkshiremen' sketch.
