The Place Promised In Our Early Days

In an alternate timeline World War II has split Japan in two; in American-controlled Aomori three children become enthralled with a giant tower, far in the distance in the Union dominon, Hokkaido. They vow to build a plane and fly to the mysterious structure, but before they can, they are separated. Beautifully realised by the creator of 'Voices of a Distant Star', this multiple award-winning sci-fi drama is about love, curiosity and promises.
