The Five Obstructions

Idiosyncratic director Lars von Trier has pulled out all the stops in this virtually unclassifiable film as he challenges his mentor, director Jorgen Leth, to remake his 1967 short film 'The Perfect Human' five times. Only each time must be under more and more arduous circumstances set by Lars himself, the Obstructor. An intriguing look into the creative process and the inspiration that can come from limitation.
