Love in the Afternoon

The winning combination of Billy Wilder and writer I.A.L Diamond ('Some Like It Hot', 'The Apartment') and acting greats Audrey Hepburn and Gary Cooper has produced one of the finest romantic comedies of the 1950s. Full of sophisticated wit and charm, Hepburn plays the daughter of private eye, Maurice Chevalier investigating the amorous (and adulterous) adventures of ladies' man, Gary Cooper. When Hepburn opts to warn him of a homicidal spouse on his trail, the scene is set for some superbly sublime hijinx.
