My Sister Eileen

Aspiring writer Ruth Sherwood (Betty Garrett) moves to New York with her man-magnet sister, Eileen (Janet Leigh). Editor Bob Baker (Jack Lemmon) helps them along and choreographer Bob Fosse (working on his first feature-length assignment) co-stars as one of Eileen's (many) love interests. With a witty Blake Edwards script, this highly underrated musical remake of the 1942 film (in turn adapted from the short stories of Ruth Kenney) is an absolute pleasure. And Jack Lemmon sings!
