Human Lanterns
The Shaw Brothers' first international star, Lo Lieh, stars in this maniacal masterpiece of the macabre from director Sun Chung. Swordsman Tan brags that he will win the upcoming lantern competition, and his long-time rival, Lung, decides to go up against him. In his search for a lantern-maker he hears of an old hermit (Lo Lieh) renowned for his skill. What he deosn't know is that the hermit bears a grudge against Lung and after a trio of disappearances for which he is blamed, Lung discovers how the hermit makes his wonderful lanterns - by using human skin.
