A famous fighter saves a young girl from a band of robbers, but is falsely accused of her family's murder. In hiding, he raises the child as his own passing on all his skills so one day, they might avenge her family's death together. With its unusual wintry setting and good-looking cast headed by whip-wielding femme Cheng Pei-Pei ('Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'), this was a box-office hit in 1971. While the wire-fu may look a little cheesy now, this is a solid revenge flick from the prolific Shaw stable.
