Legend of a Fighter

Representing the very best in martial arts filmmaking, from acclaimed director Yuen-Woo Ping, this is the fictionalised life story of revered martial arts teacher Fok Yuen Gap. Following the failed Boxer Rebellion in the early part of the 20th Century China's cultural identity is threatened by a Japanese invasion. Fok Yuen Gap gave kung fu back to the people of Southern China and this film has some breath-taking examples of why he is still so well-remembered. His death was also avenged by Bruce Lee in 'Fist of Fury'.
