The Magnificent Seven: Season 1
Based on the original film and with a movie-length pilot directed by our own Geoff Murphy this TV western stars Michael Biehn ('The Terminator') as the leader of a rag-tag bunch of gun-slingers who make themselves available for worthy causes. Dropped after its first season, fan out-cry prompted CBS to bring it back for a second series. Witty and well-written, it has a charismatic cast that includes the wonderful Ron Perlman as a guilt-ridden ex-preacher.
