The Honeymooners
A sweetly boozy Irish romantic comedy about David, a jilted groom who goes on a bender and decides to take depressed birthday girl, Claire, on what would have been his honeymoon. Both have bite and neither tries too hard to be especially likeable to the other, fearing potential rejection and further heartache - but their adventure into the middle of nowhere is just beginning. A promising debut with real charm from first time writer/director Karl Golden.
