This intensely realistic drama weaves together the story of a Czech refugee in England from three radically different perspectives. Paul (Paul McGann) is on the verge of a mental collapse, bigoted and caught in the poverty trap. His wife (Pauline McLynn, best know for her role in 'Father Ted') is numb and desperate for change when into their lives comes a Romany refugee patiently waiting for her British passport and the freedom it will bring. This first British film to be Dogme95-certified is a stunning debut from director Jan Dunn.
