21 Jump Street: Season 1
Based on a real-life undercover unit in L.A., this Stephen J Cannell show centred around young cops who posed as students in a high school in order to curb youth crime. Johnny Depp's career was launched here, though he originally turned down the role and later wriggled out of his six-year contract in the third season.
