Kiss of Life

The BAFTA-winning first feature from writer/director Emily Young is an intimate journey into the heart of a family. Helen (Ingeborga Dapkunaite) lives with her children and father in London, desperately awaiting the return of her aid-worker husband, John (Peter Mullan) in war-torn Eastern Europe. Helen's sudden death begins a three-day odyssey involving the whole family, and unaware of his wife's accident, John makes the difficult and dangerous journey home while Helen herself is caught in the limbo between life and death.
