The third season is full of ups and downs for all concerned as Rory has both boy and school trouble, and mum Lorelai faces the fact that she and Rory's dad are not getting back together and decides she wants to open an inn of her own. Keeping the high standards set by previous seasons, this is engaging, intelligent comedy/drama at its best. Witty, sophisticated and clever.
