Eight Below
Paul Walker plays polar guide, Jerry Shepherd, who must abandon his beloved sled dogs when a mountain expedition in Antarctica goes unexpectedly and badly wrong. As the dogs struggle to survive in the harsh conditions, Shepherd determines to rescue them, but must wait for the weather to clear. Inspired, in true Disney fashion, by the real events of a 1957 expedition of Japanese researchers at the South Pole, already made into the 1983 film, 'Antarctica'.
