The Guernica Tree

Finally released, for the first time ever, the third film in Fernando Arrabal's ('Viva la Muerte', 'I Will Walk like a Crazy Horse') surreal trilogy. Arguably the most brutal of the three and perhaps the most linear, it is set during the Spanish Civil War (1936 -1939), where the revolution is mirrored in the violently metaphorical events at Villa Romero in the doomed Guernica.
