Kimberley Jim

AKA 'Strike It Rich' stars country and western singer Jim Reeves in his first (and only) feature film, as a carefree, guitar-strumming con artist from Tennessee who finds his way to Kimberley, South Africa during the late 19th century diamond rush. Jim's fans will love the music despite the corny story. Released in South Africa (where he was bigger than Elvis!) immediately following Reeves' untimely death in a plane crash, this film never reached American audiences til the advent of video.
