Bromo and Juliet

Star of the Hal Roach studios, Charley Chase is the main player in these two two-reelers, the first of which 'Bromo and Juliet' sees him reluctantly taking on the role of Romeo to please his girlfriend. In 'Crazy Like A Fox' Charley pretends to be insane to passerby Oliver Hardy in order to avoid his arranged nuptials. Oliver Hardy appears in both shorts, though not as the well-known comedy character he was soon to become.
