Little Lord Fauntleroy
Ricky Schroder plays Ceddie, a sweet-natured boy living in lower class Manhattan, when his mysterious English grandfather (Alec Guiness) sends for him, wishing to train an heir. The old man is thoroughly disliked by all who know him, but Ceddie sees only good, and soon his dour grandfather warms to him. However, a vulgar impostor is about to throw a spanner in the works. Based on the novel by Frances Burnett Hodgson ('A Little Princess', 'The Secret Garden'), written for and inspired by her son.
