Unconscious

Set in 1913 Barcelona as psychoanalysis was captivating an entire generation, this unashamedly bawdy Spanish farce stars Almodovar darling Leonor Watling as Alma, the pregnant wife of high-flying psychoanalyst, Leon. When her husband disappears on the eve of Freud's arrival in the city Alma suspects foul play and, with the help of her uptight brother-in-law, discovers a hotbed of nefarious goings-on. Full of Freudian slips, mistaken identites and transvestite sex parties this clever pastiche is pure entertainment from start to finish.
