Rudy - The Rudy Giuliani Story

James Woods plays New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, charting his days as a brash young attorney in Ronald Reagan's Justice Department through his ascent into the public eye after being appointed US District Attorney in his beloved New York City. In 1989 he enters the Mayoral race but suffers a painful defeat by an incredibly thin margin. Undeterred, he runs a second time and, as mayor, Giuliani soon develops a love/hate relationship with the people of New York. His second term as mayor seems destined to come quietly to an end, until he is unexpectedly thrust into the spotlight on September 11th 2001.
