The Cheyenne Social Club / Firecreek

'The Cheyenne Social Club' (1970) - Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda team in the wry western satire about aging cowpokes who inherit a Wyoming brothel and learn a lesson in the real winning of the West from fancy gals Shirley Jones, Sue Ann Langdon and Jackie Joseph. 'Firecreek' (1967) - in the tradition of 'High Noon' this sagebrusher stars Stewart as a part-time sheriff who tries to stop a group of ornery crooks led by Fonda from taking over his town. After acts of terrorism and sexual harassment, Western-style, Stewart faces the nasties on his own.
