Lady in the Water
M Night Shyamalan's 'grown-up bedtime story' stars Paul Giamatti as a depressed building superintendant who inadvertently discovers there is a water nymph living in his back yard. In order to return her to her world, he must protect her from the beasts who hunt her, meanwhile she helps out an eclectic bunch of residents that includes Bob Balaban as a cynical movie critic, Jeffrey Wright as a single dad and M Night himself as a humble writer whose works will one day change the world! Based on a story the director made up for his kids.
