The unfalteringly funny Jack Black is Friar Ignacio, a cook in a Mexican monastery who harbours a secret desire to become a wrestling luchadore. With the fortuitous meeting of a street urchin he transforms himself into the stretchy pants-wearing Nacho and tag-team partner Esqueleto, launching a crusade to be able to afford more than beans for the beleagured monastery orphans. Directed and co-written by Jared 'Napoleon Dynamite' Hess, this is pure silliness at its best and is, incredibly, inspired by a real-life wrestling reverend!
