A Midsummer Night's Dream - Shakespeare Retold
Polly (Imelda Staunton) and Theo (Bill Paterson) have come to Dream Park to celebrate the engagement of their daughter in this updated BBC version of Shakespeare's classic romantic fantasy. But the path of true love never goes smoothly, especially when meddling fairies get involved. Shock revelations and mis-directed love potions abound in this delightfully funny rendering that also stars Zoe Tapper as the bride-to-be and Johnny Vegas as a pointy-eared Bottom.
