The Good Die Young

A psychological crime yarn, based on the novel by Richard Macaulay, exploring the motivations of four participants in an armed robbery. Ex-GI Joe (Richard Basehart) hopes to bring his British wife to the US; down-on-his-luck boxer Mike (Stanley Baker) has had his life savings stolen; American airman Eddie (John Ireland) has deserted after discovering his wife (Gloria Grahame) is unfaithful; and trying to talk them into the gig, shabby aristocrat Rave (Laurence Harvey) needs to pay off his wife's gambling debts.
