Leben fur Leben ( Life for Life )

In 1941, a young Silesian, Jan, manages to escape from Auschwitz. In retaliation, the camp commandant condemns 10 prisoners to the 'starvation bunker'. When one collapses, Maximilian Kolbe, a Franciscan priest, gives his life in exchange for the escapee, so the others may live. This is the amazing true story of how Jan and another young priest fought to have Kolbe canonized as a saint.
