Like Minds
When student Nigel Colby turns up dead at a prestigious British private school, the main suspect, Alex, a privileged schoolmate and son of the headmaster, refuses to talk. Enter forensic psychiatrist Sally Rowe (Toni Collette), brought in to try and get the boy to open up. Soon he begins to talk of his interest in the ancient Order of the Knight's Templar and a secret and deadly undercurrent at the school begins to reveal itself. An intriguing who-dun-it with sterling performances, this psychological thriller is the debut feature for Australian dierector/writer Gregory J Read, and was expertly shot in sinister tones by ex-pat Cantabrian, Nigel Bluck.
