The Runaway Bus

This offbeat British comedy/thriller features Frankie Howerd, in his first starring role, as Percy Lamb, a bus driver who finds himself in a difficult situation when ordered to transport passengers from the fogged-in London Airport to another airport, unaware he is in fact carrying stolen gold bullion that is about to be smuggled. Also stars a young (non-singing) Petula Clark and the incomparable Margaret Rutherford.
