Robot Chicken: Season 1

This twisted stop-motion series takes a satirical swipe at pop culture, with a re-animated chook forced to watch TV, Clockwork Orange-style. Beginning life as a regular feature in ToyFare magazine, it became an internet series entitled 'Sweet J Presents' before being pitched to the Cartoon Network, for their 'Adult Swim' slot, by creators Matthew Senreich and Seth Green. Green provides many of the voices along with celebrities who often appear as 'themselves', including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ashton Kutcher, Burt Reynolds, Mark Hamill, Ryan Seacrest, Scarlett Johansson, Pat Morita, Phyllis Diller and many more. The first season includes twenty 15-minute episodes from this knock-out cult favourite.
