Hot Fuzz
The lads that brought us zombie spoof 'Shaun of the Dead' turn their attentions to the British bobby in this cameo-packed mickey-take of the cops-and-robbers genre. Simon Pegg is superconstable Nicolas Angel, who is proving to be a bit of an embarrassment at his London station where he is showing up his less eager colleagues. After being unceremoniously 'reassigned' to the quiet hamlet of Sanford, he finds his 'big city ways' aren't all together welcomed by the yokels, with the exception of blundering partner Danny (Nick Frost), who thinks PC Angel is 'awesome'. However, country life is not as idyllic as it seems. Lots of fun, lots of blowing up stuff, and lots and lots of famous English faces.
