Walter Brennan reprises his role as the cunning retired Texas Ranger, Nash Crawford. Together with Edgar Buchanan, Andy Devine and Chill Wills, Crawford faces corruption in town, while at the same time helping longtime friend, and town lush, Fred Astaire get off the bottle and back behind the badge. A light-hearted frontier tale, and sequel to 'The Over The Hill Gang'.
