The Gymnast

Jane Hawkins (Dreya Weber) was a talented gymnast, full of Olympic hopes when an injury forced her to give up her goals. Twenty years later she is working as a massage therapist and feeling suffocated in a passionless marriage. A chance meeting with an old team mate prompts her to take stock of her life, and when she is asked to join a performing troupe, she can't pass up the oppurtunity. It is there she meets the enigmatic Serena, an Asian-American and closet lesbian who, she slowly realises, she has romantic feelings for. Absorbing and with a realistic emotional intensity from the two excellent leads.
