The Frisco Kid

Gene Wilder saddles up in this kosher comedy western as a Polish rabbi, on his way to the wild west to set up a synagogue in San Francisco. Luckily for him he has cowpoke Tom Lillard (Harrison Ford), to help him get there in one piece. Not that it will be an easy task. The beleaguered cowboy was a role originally intended for John 'The Duke' Wayne, and he was keen to be on board - until he found out how much money they were offering.
