The Howards of Virginia

Cary Grant stars as Matt Howard, a down-to-earth surveyor busy at work building the United States of America, who marries (for love) Jane, an aristocrat and Royalist. All is well as they set up a home and start a family, but soon Matt's democratic beliefs lead him to join the Colonial forces as Jane rejoins her Tory family. Classic, stirring romantic drama, set against the fight for a young nation.
